Private Blue Mountains tours from Sydney

Blue Mountains private tours

Country Trails offers a standard Blue Mountains tour itinerary (as described below) but also tailors tours to clients' requirements. Standard tours for up to seven people can be booked online.

Standard itinerary

For our standard Blue Mountains itinerary we pick up from Sydney CBD hotels at 7.30am. The tour includes the popular Featherdale Wildlife Park, where guests can see iconic Australian animals up close. The park is located in Sydney's western suburbs and is the first stop on the way to the mountains or the last on the way back. In the mountains we visit a couple of the major viewpoints, including Echo Point for views of the famous Three Sisters rock formation. From these lookouts guests can look down into the majestic canyons and learn how the mountains were formed.

This tour allows for some free time and optional activities. Guests can experience the attractions of Scenic World (at own cost), which includes cable car rides, "the world's steepest railway" down to the valley floor and a rainforest walk. Alternatively, there is a cliff-top walk passing scenic spots and with great views of the Jamison Valley (no extra cost).

For lunch, we stop in the village of Leura, renowned for its boutique shops, cafes and restaurants (lunch at own cost). We are happy to offer lunch suggestions, and for those interested in a restaurant lunch we can make reservations and pre-order on your behalf.

Our tour ends in Sydney's western suburbs, where guests take a ferry back to Sydney CBD. Passengers can disembark at Darling Harbour or Circular Quay, arriving at approximately 6.30pm or 6.45pm respectively.
